The cottage also has a first floor bathroom, a second floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room, a snug room and a conservatory. Outside is off road parking for two cars, private boating berth and an enclosed patio with furniture and barbecue. Set in a great position in the heart of Whitby, Romy Lou offers friends and families the perfect base for exploring this wonderful seaside town and the surrounding rural beauty of the North York Moors.

Located on the mouth of the River Esk Whitby is a small, but well known, coastal town in Yorkshire, England. It is not far from Glaisdale, Lealholm, Hinderwell, Runswick Bay, and Staithes and is one of over two hundred towns and villages in Yorkshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are York (population 137,505), Ripon (population 16,468), and Leeds (which has a population of 443,247 according to the 2001 Census).
Set within the Borough of Scarborough, Whitby has an economy which is greatly boosted by tourism, but fishing continues to play a large part. It has a number of interesting landmarks including the ruins of Whitby Abbey, the Old Town Hall and also a status of Captain Cook in the Royal Crescent, and it forms a great location to stay at if you wish to visit this part of Yorkshire.
